Chapter Seven

You will think that you are safe, but you will be wrong.
I see it all so clearly, as you will see it, through your own eyes.
A cry-a beacon will shoot through space, and you will run and fly.
Zip through the black like a lightning bug.
Skullduggery and treachery will set upon you.
Then panick --then fear.
It will be all you can do to stay focus--stay driven.
Nor, will you be alone, I see.
One will come with you, but her place in your life will be uncertain.
Too bad.
To care so deeply, but so coldly, would truly be tragic.
No more tragic, I suppose, than my own place.
But you, you will have something that I want.
And you will TAKE IT FOR GRANTED.
And I think, just maybe, I'll take it from you.
*
*
Perhaps you will know the suffering I feel.
Or, perhaps, you will simply cease to exist.
I doubt that I will care either way.
So, continue your journey, as you surely shall.
And I will be waiting for you.
Upon that meeting, all will be decided.
The future will be now, or then, as the case may be.
You will think that you are safe, but you will be wrong.
